Brain health, assessed without theatre.
Aethera Neuroscience Lab is the brain and cognition arm of Aethera. It does two things.
What this division is for
First, it gives an adult a clear, honest baseline of what is actually measurable about their brain right now: objective cognitive testing, the modifiable risk factors that drive most dementia risk, metabolic and vascular labs, sleep and hearing, medication burden, and brain imaging when there is a reason for it. Second, when testing finds a real problem, it runs the specialty workup and gets the person to the right place, including the eligibility workup for the anti-amyloid antibody drugs, which must be infused at a center enrolled in a CMS-approved registry and which Aethera does not administer. Who it serves: adults 40 and up who want a brain baseline; people with a family history or a known APOE e4 result who want a risk-reduction plan they can follow; people with a real memory or thinking complaint who are stuck between a 12-minute primary care visit and a nine-month neurology waitlist; and people recovering from a concussion.
The division is online in all 50 states, concierge in every state except Massachusetts and New York, and orders imaging anywhere in the United States. It is cash-pay. We do not bill insurance.
Two things this division will not do, and says so on the site: it does not sell stem cell or exosome products for memory, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, or brain injury, and it does not sell Alzheimer's blood tests to people with no symptoms. Both are explained on a published page, because the reason we refuse is the most useful thing we can tell a patient about this field.
What is different here
- We publish what each test cannot tell you, on the same page as the price. The limits are the product.
- We will not sell an Alzheimer's blood test to someone with no symptoms. The FDA clearance covers symptomatic adults 55 and older in specialized care, and the 2025 Alzheimer's Association guideline covers people with objective cognitive impairment. Almost every direct-to-consumer competitor is selling outside both.
- We cite the ACHIEVE trial correctly. Its primary result was null - difference 0.002, p=0.96. We still screen hearing, and we explain why. Anyone who tells you hearing aids prevent dementia has not read the paper.
- We do not offer stem cells or exosomes for any brain condition, and we say so on a dedicated page, even though our parent brand is named Aethera Cellular Medicine. There are no FDA-approved exosome products.
- We do not do brain SPECT for memory, mood or attention. The largest cash-pay brain clinic chain in the country is built on it.
- We run a multidomain risk-reduction program and we do not call it reversal, do not license it from anyone, and report risk factor control rather than cognitive score improvement - because practice effects alone produce about 0.11 SD of apparent gain, roughly a year of age-related decline.

How you are seen
Residents of every U.S. state and the District of Columbia can join the online clinic. A specific test or treatment can still have its own state limits, and we show any limit that applies in your state before you pay for it.
Concierge visits are available in 48 states. We do not offer concierge care in Massachusetts or New York. The online clinic is open in both.
No Aethera clinic is open yet. Three are in development in Nashville, Miami and Madison, Wisconsin, and a fourth is planned for Bogotá in early 2027. We will say so plainly here the day one opens, and not before.
We are cash-pay. We do not bill insurance, and no federal healthcare program money is involved in anything we do. Many of our services can be paid for with an HSA or FSA card, and some cannot. Eligibility is set by IRS rules and decided by your plan administrator, not by us. Cosmetic treatments are specifically excluded. We mark each service with what we understand its status to be, we give you an itemised receipt with the codes your administrator needs, and we will write a Letter of Medical Necessity where one genuinely applies.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of a result. Talk to a licensed clinician about your own situation before starting anything.
